ResistNow – How to Use
Getting Started
ResistNow lets you email your elected officials in under 60 seconds—no app, no website, no nonsense.
- Text RESISTNOW to +1 825 425 2491 to begin.
- You’ll be prompted for your name, address, and email. We use your address to look up your elected representatives (Prime Minister, MP, Premier, MLA, and Mayor). We don’t sell or share your information. You can read our privacy policy here: https://www.resistnow.ca/privacy-policy/.
- Once set up, just text WRITE. Choose who you want to contact, type your message, and we’ll send it for you—professionally formatted and delivered by email.
Available Commands
ACCOUNT - Review your saved profile information
ADDRESS - Update just your street address, city, and postal code
BACK - Go back one level (previous step)
EMAIL - Update just your email address
EXIT - Stop everything and say goodbye
NAME - Update just your first and last name
PRIVACY - View privacy policy
RESISTNOW - Start the service
STATS - View daily usage statistics ("Today we sent X emails")
STOP - Unsubscribe from service immediately
SUPPORT - List all available commands
TERMS - View terms of service
WRITE - Contact your elected officials
